He was predeceased by: his daughter Erin; and his parents, Jack Gordon and Dorothy Gordon (Altman). He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Taylor Gordon (Kay); his children, Patrick, Jr. (Christi), Kelly Pennington (George), Timothy Xavier Gordon and Megan Goldman (Brian); his grandchildren, Patrick III, Ryan Gordon, Cory, Fern Pennington and Luke Goldman; his brothers, John (Ann), Kevin (Tara), Michael (Claudia) and Mark (John Jensen); and his brother-in-law Robert Taylor (Marjorie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Friends who wish may contribute in Pat's memory to Christ the King Church, St. Charles Preparatory High School, Birthright, or the Charity of their choice.

“Mr Gordon was our neighbor on S Weyant. I babysat for Mrs and Mr Gordon quite often when they had one and then two children. I didn’t know Mr Gordon as well as Mrs Gordon but he walked me home after dark though I lived only one house away. I looked up to the Gordons and wanted to be like them. That’s for sure! I loved Diet Pepsi and Charles chips because of the Gordons. I’m saddened that he died so young. I will pray for God’s comfort for Mrs Gordon, Patrick and Kelly”
