He was predeceased by : his great-grandparents, Charlie Nichols and Delia Mason; his grandparents, Albert Joe, Hattie Jordan, Neil and Ruth Seward; his aunts and uncles, Patricia Thigpen, Carolyn Roddy (Ernest Roddy Sr.), Neil Seward and Richard Seward; and his mother Marta Jean Jordan.
He is survived by : his father Bishop Nathaniel D. Jordan; his children, Jeremy Butler-Jordan and Tyina Jordan (Paulisha); his godson Travis Marshall; his siblings, April Williams (Dale), Dwayne Jordan (Lisa), Jeffrey Jordan (Dorothy), Miles Jordan and Dale Jordan (Lois); his grandchildren, Jaiana, Judah and Savannah; and his great grandchild Karter. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, colleagues, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Calendar Greater Bethlehem Temple Apostolic Church (1725 E Main St, Columbus, OH 43205). A burial was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM.
For the past ten years, he has been the Executive Director of the Columbus Kappa Foundation, where he managed the distribution of Narcan in the community.
