He was predeceased by: his wife Carole Lynn Fliegel; and his parents, Gordon Fliegel and Fern Fliegel. He is survived by: his children, Tobi Fliegel, Joel Fliegel (Rebecca), Seth Fliegel (Krista), Jared Fliegel and Jeffrey White (Tim Buskirk); his siblings, Wendy Cohen (Rob), Madalyn Benjamin (Roger) and Alan Fliegel (Lynn); and his grandchildren, Micah, Jordon, Caleb, Emma, Lainie, Tovah, Maya, Carissa and Kaitlyn.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Congregation Beth Tikvah (6121 Olentangy River Rd, Worthington, OH 43085). A shiva was held on Sunday, August 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Monday, August 19th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM and on Tuesday, August 20th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
