As Michael departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Michael leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Rooney and Charlotte McCafferty Myers; and his siblings, Trenda Cooper and Chris Myers. He is survived by: his son Shawn Rooney (Nicole); his brother Russell Myers (Jane); his niece Jenya Whitesel (Shawn); and his great-niece Terra Christine Cox. He is also survived by many great nieces, nephews and cousins.
