We are sad to announce that on May 22, 2022, Melvin Roy Herb (Columbus, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Herb and Mable Herb; his siblings, Dale, Morris "George", Jimmy, Alice, Rosella and Betty; and his former wife Elizabeth [Novotni].

He is survived by: his wife Juanita [Carl] Herb; his daughter Sandra Cantrell (Norman); his grandchildren, Melissa Hayes (Todd), Matthew Cantrell (Elizabeth), Evan, Elizabeth, Cade, Ethan and Ashleigh; his sister Mabel Miller; his nieces, Rose Jarvis [Howard], Michelle Cox, Sara Rutherford and Kirsten Carl; and his nephew Ed Rutherford Jason (Julie). He is also survived by nieces and nephews as well as dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Mel's memory to Capital City Hospice.
