With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Jakeway of Columbus, Ohio, born in Coshocton, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 13, 2024 at the age of 69. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Jakeway to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Pollock and Mary Pollock (Calhoun); her husband Tom Jakeway; her siblings-in-law, Walter Jakeway and Donna Jakeway; and her brother Gene Pollock (Jeanie).
She is survived by: her daughter Jessica Jakeway; her brothers, Samuel Pollock (Kathryn), Dennis Pollock (Harriett), Charlie Pollock (Linda) and Earl Pollock (Georgianna Parisi); and her nieces and nephews, Mike Pollock, Rebecca Teeter (Bob), Julie Evans, Greg Pollock, Bill Pollock (Jennifer), Beth Watson, Dave Pollock, Brenda Marcks (Harry), John Jakeway, James Pollock, Denise Tucker-Pollock (Kevin), Lisa Pollock (Brian), Matt Pollock and Seth Pollock.
She took pride in serving the needs of her small community and was the driving force behind keeping the pool operational, especially through Covid.
