Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mary touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gibbons and Margaret Gibbons; and her uncles, Joseph Flanagan and Francis Flanagan. She is survived by: her brother Michael (Patricia); her niece Erin Gibbons; her nephew Michael Gibbons (Alexa); her great-nephew Jack; her cousins, Craig Flanagan and Cristine Goodman; and her friend Christina McGilton. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Egan-Ryan Funeral Home (403 E Broad St, Columbus, OH 43215). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church (434 Norton Rd, Columbus, OH 43228). A burial was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at the St. Joseph Cemetery (6440 S High St, Lockbourne, OH 43137).
