He is survived by: his wife Mary E. VanGundy of Melbourne, Florida.; his children, Melissa VanGundy-Simmons Elgin of South Carolina, Marvin S. VanGundy of Ashville, Beth Hackney of Melbourne, Christie Hackney of Thornville and Roger Swisher of Melbourne, Florida.; his grandchildren, Tyler, Cody, Vanessa, Brandon Simmons (Jenna), Shayna, Kamren Shane, Maressa, Mikey, Michael, Andrew and Kayla; and his great grandchildren, Lane Brice and Jamilah.
