Margaret Lutz Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Lutz of Columbus, Ohio, born in McComb, Ohio, who passed away on October 14, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Margaret shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Margaret farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Pearl Taylor and Alice Haley Lanker; her caregiver Upham Hall; and her children, Barb Lutz Forshey (Alan), Sheila Lutz Jones (Brad) and James Charles Lutz II (Linda). She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Tidd Family Funeral Home (5265 Norwich St, Hilliard, OH 43026). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Union Cemetery (3349 Olentangy River Rd, Columbus, OH 43202).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mount Carmel College of Nursing.
