With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maddison Elle Kristine Linger-Thompson of Columbus, Ohio, born in Newark, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 3, 2024 at the age of 18. She was predeceased by : her grandfather Gary Ellis Thompson; her stepgrandfather Cliff Palmer; and her aunt Kayla Kristine Thompson. She is survived by : her parents, David Michael Linger (Katie Jago) and Melissa Marie Thompson-Kline (Adam); her siblings, Courtney Linger, Taylor Marie, Joshua David, Noah Ellis, Colton Ellis, Brayden Andrew, Ethan Michael and Mason Alexandrer; her aunts and uncles, Lora Hayes (Jim), Amber Phelps (Daniel), Sherri Thompson, Wendi Armolt (Ben), Steve Linger (Cathy) and David Ruton (Suni); her niece Abbigail Blankenship; and her grandparents, David E. Linger (Clara), Susan Palmer and Sandra Kristine Ruton (Jonathon).

Visitation was held on Friday, June 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Spring Hills Baptist Church (1820 Newark Granville Rd, Granville, OH 43023). A memorial service was held on Friday, June 7th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
