It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luther Sulton Hayes Jr. (Columbus, Ohio), who passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Sulton Hayes, Sr. and Elvy M. Hayes (North); and his siblings, Gilford B. Hayes, Rickey P. Hayes, Edward E. Hayes, Sylvia L. Hayes-Parks, Jesse M. Hayes-Betts and Sheryl C. Hayes-Malone.
He is survived by: his cousin Willia Harvell (Reeves); his wife Frinzine Hayes; his daughter Danielle Boykin; his grandson Daniel Ferguson; and his siblings, Derek Hayes (Valerie), Charles Hayes, Elvy "Roz" Hayes and Katrina "Tina" Hayes. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, a host of cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Traveler's Rest Baptist Church (1533 Cleveland Ave, Columbus, OH 43211).
