He was predeceased by: his parents, James Twitty and Viola Sewell Twitty; and his siblings, Ronald Twitty, LaVelle Twitty, Franklin Delanor Twitty (Butch), Beverly Johnson-Cooke and Gail Twitty.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Twitty; his children, Stacia (Curtis), Larry (Mary) and Saniosa (Anothny); his grandchildren, Christian, Brianna Jones, Trey Isaiah, Jevon Issac, Lawrence (LT), Imani, Angelia and Cheyenne Scott; and his great grandchildren, Ayden Scott and Lela Battle. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rhema Christian Center (2100 Agler Rd, Columbus, OH 43219). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens (5600 E Broad St, Columbus, OH 43213). Since Covid, Lawrence participated in leading and attending weekly family Bible Study.
