With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry A. Manter of Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on March 25, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Larry leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Larry may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Manter and Barbara A. Manter; his siblings, Vicky Manter, Doris Whalen and Arnie Manter; and his brother-in-law Vernon Smith (VT).
He is survived by: his significant other Christine S. Manter; and his son James A. Manter (Katrina).
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (10051 Brewster Ln, Powell, OH 43065). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The burial will immediately follow at Mifflin Cemetary, Gahanna OHAs we gather to honor and remember Larry A. Manter, let us carry forward his legacy of kindness and generosity the family is asking in lieu of sending flowers for a donation be made to any local youth sporting groups.
