Though Jozef may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jozef touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Genya; his daughter Marina Shafer (Vladimir); his grandson Lev Shafer (Krystal); his great grandchildren, Isla Rose Shafer and Ruby Serwin; and his cousins, Carol and Jeff Folkerth.
A graveside service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the New Agudas Achim Cemetery (2565 Performance Way, Columbus, OH 43207).
