We are sad to announce that on November 2, 2024, at the age of 27, Joseph Michael Burkhart of Columbus, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Joseph is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Joseph's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his brother Jason Edward Freeman; and his grandparents, William, Georgia Freeman, Gene and Marilyn Burkhart.
He is survived by: his parents, Eric J. Burkhart and Tammy S. Burkhart (Freeman) of North Dartmouth, Massachusetts; his sister Hannah Burkhart of West Covina, California; and his godparents, Mike Burkhart and Beverly Kelly. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:45 PM at the Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home (319 N Chestnut St, Barnesville, OH 43713). A vigil service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 6:45 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Assumption B. V. M. Catholic Church (306 W Main St, Barnesville, OH 43713).
