We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2025, at the age of 77, John Wesley Bare of Columbus, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Willis and Bertha Bare (Genheimier); his wife Leah Jean Bare (Bentley); his brother William "Hop" Bare Sr.; and his brother-in-law Pete Burwell.
He is survived by: his children, Jason Bare (Nikki) of Logan and Stacie Bare (Michael Webster) of Reynoldsburg; his grandchildren, Zachary Bare (Alaina), Joe Bare-Webster, Ethan Bare, Gage Webster, Kira Stufflebeam and Emma DeLong; his great grandchild Oliver Bare; and his siblings, Ronnie Bare (Denise), Donnie Bare (Deanna), Chuck Bare (Eleanor), Helen Burwell and Brenda Hall (Hiney).
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cardaras Funeral Home - McArthur (201 W High St, McArthur, OH 45651). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at the Elk Cemetery (32121 OH-93, McArthur, OH 45651).
