He was predeceased by: his parents, John Alfred and Elizabeth Banks Robinson Jones; and his son Britten Mathew Jones. He is survived by: his wife Ingrid Jacobs-Jones; his children, David Osceola Payne (Afratidee) of Columbus, Ohio, Brittney Jones of Columbus, Ohio, D'Jovana Navarro (Gavin) of Columbus, Ohio, Alex Wells of Columbus, Ohio, Jonelle Jones of Columbus, Ohio and Julia Jones of Columbus, Ohio; and his sisters, Stephanie Jones-Weatherspoon (Floyd), Dr. Robin A and Elder Khandi Jones-Stewart (Calvin). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, nieces. nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
