He was predeceased by: his father Michael Chapman; and his grandparents, Orn Gale, Evelyn Roberts, Eugene Chapman and June Knight (James).
He is survived by: his children, Jessyca Blaney (Jeremiah) and Michael Chapman; his mother Cathy Chapman; his daughter Valerie Langhirt; his brothers, William "Joey" Chapman (Mary) and Marty Chapman (Sandy); and his nieces and nephews, Brad, Maddy, Mitchell, Carly, Josh, Zac, Richard, Kaitlyn, Samantha, Alec, Brittany and Matthew.
