He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse C. Short and Laura E. Short (Jordan); and his sister Virginia L. Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Deborah L. Short; his sister Ellen M. Branham; and his close friend Jayne Meadows. He is also survived by one nephew, two nieces.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Pallay Funeral Home (1631 Parsons Ave, Columbus, OH 43207).
