With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Janice Stewart of Columbus, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Janice left this world on January 13, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Janice may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Janice touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Brittman and Jessie Eunice Ewans Brittman; her husband Laverne Stewart; and her siblings, Julius, Leroy, Lester Brittman and Debbie Brittman.
She is survived by: her siblings, Dorothea Brittman and Donald Brittman (Betty). She is also survived by her stepchildren; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Diehl-Whittaker Funeral Service (1370 E Main St, Columbus, OH 43205). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and at 7:00 PM at the same location.
