She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Rittenhouse and Betty Rittenhouse; and her sister Judy Schneider. She is survived by: her children, Mark Smits (Heather) and Marcie Smits; her grandchildren, Troy, Emily and Evan; her siblings, Franklin Rittenhouse and Betsy Hanson; and the father of her children David Smits.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 21st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jerry Spears Funeral Home of Hilliard (5471 Frazell Rd, Hilliard, OH 43026). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, August 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Cecilia Catholic Church (434 Norton Rd, Columbus, OH 43228).
