With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Bentley of Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on November 27, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Bentley and Gracie Bradley Bentley; his children-in-law, Carolyn Bentley and Jim Everett; and his siblings, Greene, William, Deslie, Asbury, Claude, T. J. Bentley, Poky Lewis, Stella Bare, Marjorie Daft and Violet Smathers.

He is survived by: his children, Terry Bentley (Shari) of Columbus, Randy Bentley of West Jefferson, Lori Everett of Columbus, Brian Bentley (Michelle) of Mechanicsburg, Jeff Bentley (Lisa) of Ashville and Scott Bentley (Julie) of Columbus. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
