She was predeceased by: her parents, John Burr and Mary Wright; her husband Rev. Vurn O. Mullins; her daughter Paulette Gentry; and her siblings, John, Matthew, James Wright, Rosie Williamson, Sarah Byers, Beatrice Smith, Loretta Lewis and Mary Dillard.

She is survived by: her son-in-law John R. Gentry; her grandson Diallo Gentry (Tamra) of Elgin, IL.; and her sister Norma Jean Evans. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, many relatives, and friends.
