With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herbert Glimcher (Columbus, Ohio), born in Duluth, Minnesota, who passed away on January 4, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Nona Moskow Glimcher; his parents, Paul Glimcher and Eva Glimcher; and his siblings, Marion Dach (Morris) and Mayer Glimcher (Patty).
He is survived by: his wife DeeDee; his children, David (Lenore), Robert (Megan), Ellen and Michael (Spenser); his brother Arne (Milly); and his grandchildren, Nick, Jordan, Brandon, Jason, Gabe, Qunicie, Layne, Brock, Leah, Grant and Blair. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and many extended family.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Congregation Tifereth Israel (1354 E Broad St, Columbus, OH 43205). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at the same location.
