We are sad to announce that on November 12, 2024, at the age of 110, Hattie Louise Harshaw (Columbus, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her sister Georgia; her husband Gennie Harshaw; and her son Gene "Junie" Harshaw. She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Brenda Harshaw; her great grandchildren, Gene Harshaw (Gwen), Columbus (Robert), Earlene Smitherman, Cleveland (Thomas) and Andrea Ochs; her great great grandchildren, Robert Jefferson, Zayne Harshaw, Cierra Smitherman, Raven Smitherman and Rhayne Smitherman; her grandchildren, Keegan Jefferson of Tariq, Smitherman-Mason, Winter and Violet Reeves; her caregiver Carolyn Soloman; and her pastor Cheryl Isaacs.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the East Columbus Community Church (6926 Tussing Rd, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Glen Rest Memorial (8029 E Main St, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068).
