Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Harold Block of Columbus, Ohio, born in Coney Island, New York, who passed away at the age of 91, on January 17, 2025. He was predeceased by: his wife Audrey; his son Steven; his parents, Max Block and Sadie Block; and his brother Marvin Block.

He is survived by: his sister Ruby Cohen; his son Alan Block (Michelle); his daughter-in-law Lisa Block; and his grandchildren, Jason Block (Talie), Linsey Van Meter (Matt), Sari Weprin (Jacob) and Jacob Block (Kristen). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Agudas Achim Synagogue (2767 E Broad St, Columbus, OH 43209). A shiva will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at the Lisa Block's Residence. A burial will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at the New Agudas Achim Cemetery (2767 E Broad St, Columbus, OH 43209).

“We moved to Ohio from NY in 2007. We met Hal in 2009 and he asked us to sit with the Sunday group for breakfast. We have been eating breakfast with Hal ever since. We will miss him dearly. We also met his two sons Steve and Alan. Our condolences to all the family members. NICK & MICHELE KAHN”
