He is survived by: his son Jamar Pitts; his granddaughter La'Miyah Pitts; his daughter Janelle Sotikare (Oyewole Sotikare); his granddaughters, Ny'Keema Carter, Nyasia Carter and Iyanuoluwa Sotikare; his daughter Jenise Pitts (Troy Bigelow); his grandchildren, Naheen Jackson and Asani Jackson; his son Jamil Pitts (Shavany Gonzales); his granddaughter Sophia Pitts; his daughter Brayla Owens; and his siblings, Leslie Ojo (Adedeji), Jolynn Shaw-Boyd, Melissa Clark, Emanuel Jones, Anthony Jones, Raymond Owens Jr. and Derek Owens (Derky). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM and at 5:00 PM.
