He was predeceased by: his wife Eloise Walsh Oury; and his brothers, Dan and Stanley Oury. He is survived by: his sister Phyllis Mast; his sister-in-law Joyce Oury; his nieces and nephews, Glenda Kirsch (Marc) and Glenn Oury (Laura); and his grandchildren, Caleb Kirsch (Hani), Casey Kirsch and Madalynn Oury. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
