He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Thomas and Myrtle Thomas; his sons, John Thomas and Adam Thomas; his siblings, Ernest Thomas, Jr., Ella Marie Winegardner, Kathleen King, Flora Belle Bash and Baby Jesse Thomas; and his nephew David Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Thomas (Peg); his children, George Thomas Jr., Russell Thomas (Pamela) and Sandra Hensley (Mark Sr); and his sister Erma Hunziker. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great- grandchildren and 6 great great- grandchildren.
