He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Campbell and Helen Besseny Campbell; his wife Rosemary; and his brother Jimmy. He is survived by: his children, Gene Campbell Jr. (Stella) of Georgia, Steven Campbell of Columbus, Mark Campbell (Kelli) of Etna, Kimberly Jarvis (Douglas) of Columbus and Melissa Campbell; his grandchildren, Jennifer Rose, Heath Austin (Sara), Alex Ray, Gene III, Zachary, Whitney Leigh, Bayleigh Madison (Charlie), Markie Jr. (Emily), Christa, Victoria (Nick), Emily (Seth), Espen and Eric Dalmau; his great grandchildren, Linken Avery, Laney Belle, Olivia Rose, Karter, Thomas, Braxton, Carsen, Wrenley Madison, Cash, Gene IV, Kat, Mia, Kash, Kroy, Wesley and Cooper; his siblings-in-law, Dora Campbell, Cheryl Hankinson (Larry), Rhonda Nelson and Cedric Nelson; his close friends, George Guffy, Pat Ferry and Ruth Ann Keirns; his pet Ellie Mae; and his caregiver Amanda. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Morrison Funeral Service Chapel (6525 S State Rte 78, Glouster, OH 45732).
In lieu of flowers, please bring a scratch-off in honor him and the wonderful man that he was and celebrate Gene and Rose's love story as they reunite.
