He was predeceased by: his wife Audrey; his parents, Nathan Kapetansky and Fay Kapetansky; his brothers, Donald Kapetansky and Larry Kapetansky; and his grandson Darryl Baker.

He is survived by: his children, David Kapetansky, Karen Davis, Glenn Kapetansky (Esther), Lisa Nagar and Dr. Steven Kapetansky; his grandchildren, Brian, Alyssa (Jason), Jason, Dena (David), Netanya (Shimon), Ezra (Ariella), Natan and Sarah; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Zachary, Livana, Jacob, Judah, Noa, Nadav, Elan, Shiloh and Shmuel.

A graveside service was held on Sunday, October 13th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the New Beth Jacob Cemetery (2565 Performance Way, Columbus, OH 43207). A shiva was held on Sunday, October 13th 2024 at 6:35 PM.
