He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Paul Zane and Rosemary E. Murphy Zane; his wife Patricia Zane; his stepfather Robert H. Varner; and his grandson Holden W. Curtis.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia S. Curtis (Bill) of Columbus and Franklin P. Zane (Brenna) of Circleville; his grandchildren, Destiny, Hailey, Max and Ian; and his nephew George Ferguson.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the South Chapel (1346 S High St, Columbus, OH 43207). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
