He was predeceased by: his parents, Waldon Shilling and Aletha Idel Cornwell; his brother Kenneth Shilling; and his son Peter Brown. He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn "Pooh" Shilling; his siblings, Carolyn Wolfe (Chuck), Terry Shilling (Precy), Denise Wilson, Dennis Shilling (Barbara) and Gary Shilling (Tammy); his children, Dametta Clark, Dagayla Brown and Petro Brown (Denico); and his grandchildren, Chaz Allen, Donovan Stamps, Petro Brown II, Armani Brown (Jawin), Emani Brown, Treanna Brown, Miasia Brown, Trachele Parker and Nell Nell Parker. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3047 E Dublin Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43231). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
