Florence Prater Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Florence Prater of Columbus, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 26, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Swiger and Helen Swiger; her siblings, Kenneth Swiger and Margret Lou Reams; and her sisters-in-law, Judy Swiger and Margret Swiger.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Prater; her siblings, Bob Swiger, Thurman Swiger (Nancy), Eileen Higgins, Marie Williams, Linda Palm (Terry) and Chris McQueen (Steve); and her pet Trixie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the God Lutheran Church (1000 Demorest Rd, Columbus, OH 43204). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
