She was predeceased by: her mother Christina Allen (Thompson); her husband Major Armstead, Jr.; her daughter Felicia Ann Gaston (Armstead); her father Will Allen; her aunts and uncles, Wilie Mae Carter, Lorene Gillespie, Elvira Rhinehart, Mattie Kyle, Rosie Lee Griffin, Jewel Downing, Prince Albert Thompson and Albert Thompson; her siblings, Clifford Allen, Ethel Howard (Allen), Mable Allen, Elmer Allen, Archie Allen and Dorothy Allen; her son-in-law Irvin Russell Gresham, Jr.; and her nephew Gary Jermaine Allen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Kay Allen, Christine Gresham and Michelle Armstead; and her siblings-in-law, Valla Allen (Netter) and Cecil Howard. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
