With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elaine Lewin (Columbus, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 1, 2024 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elaine Lewin to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Milton Lewin; her grandson Jack Madison; and her parents, Bess Zeff and Nathan Zeff. She is survived by: her family, Carrie Madison (Andy), Connie Tuckerman (Craig) and Adam Lewin (Stephanie); her sister Rita Levit; and her grandchildren, Marissa Madison, Georgia Tuckerman, Arie Tuckerman, Charlie Tuckerman, Lola Lewin, Mila Lewin and Gage Lewin. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Congregation Tifereth Israel (1354 E Broad St, Columbus, OH 43205).
The family requests that donations in Elaine's memory be made to the Jack Madison Memorial Fund, which was established in 2023 when her beloved grandson passed away. The fund is used to help those of all faiths that are in need and can be found at https://jewishcolumbus.org.
