With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris A Braughton of Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on January 17, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Morda Wilson and Golda Wilson; her husband Norman Braughton Sr.; her siblings, Stella, Jessie, Clara and Joe; and her grandson James.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Tirey, Bud Braughton (Julie), Joe Braughton (Jana), Sue Stickel (Matt) and Linda Ulrey (Scott); and her grandchildren, Josie, Caleb, Amanda, Angela, Ashley, Joran, Augist, Kaleigh, Kimberly, Kalista, Hannah, Austin, Joey, Anna, Alex, Jacob, Aubrey and Aven. She is also survived by 30 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Highland Baptist Church (3460 Hoover Rd, Grove City, OH 43123). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at the Galloway Cemetery (6333 Alkire Rd #6271, Galloway, OH 43119).
