Though De Chao may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those De Chao touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his son Yen-Hsien Samson Chiao (Maggie); his grandchildren, Gabby and Austen Chiao; his daughter Krystal Nizar (Jon); his grandsons, Isaiah, Evan and Caleb Nizar; and his family, Veritas, Bonitas, Pulchritudo and Sanctitas. He is also survived by his siblings and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Andrew Catholic Church (1899 McCoy Rd, Columbus, OH 43220). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
