He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bowen and Laurel Bowen. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his daughter Theresa Gessells (Scott); his grandchildren, Chloe, Braden, Ava, Ella, Sophia, Gavin, Austin and Connor; his son Scott Bowen (Lyndy); his grandchildren, Crew and Charlie; his great grandchild Jonathon Bowen (Kristen); his brothers, Rick Bowen (Sandy) and Bob Bowen (Dixie); and his aunts, Marge Reeder and Anna Secrist.

Contributions in Don's memory may go to the American Cancer Society, the Cancer Strategic Support Fund at OSU, the OSU James Head and Neck Cancer Fund, or Pelotonia.
