He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie Schloss; his daughter Laura Collins; his parents, Charles Kenneth Schloss and Dolores Schloss; and his brother Thomas Schloss.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Circone (Nick Beeler) and Jeffrey Schloss; his grandchildren, Amie Ladd, Paul Collins, Mary and Jeffrey Schloss; his great grandchildren, Stephanie and Charlie Ladd; and his sister Sarah "Sally" Turner (Don).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in David's memory to Charity Newsies, an organization to which he devoted many years of volunteer service and support.
