He is survived by: his children, David Rhoton Jr. (Tresera), Josh Rhoton (Tanya), Brianna Rhoton, Rance Rhoton, Codey Adams (Mia), Alena Sorrell (Brad) and Tonya Howard (Ray); his grandchildren, Brooklyn Hobson (Jamie), Jacob Bolen (Kara), Brayden Webb, Joshua Rhoton (Joshie), Remington Adams (Remi), Mikayla Adams, Easton Adams, Barrett Adams, Emily Sorrell (Emmy), Bryce Sorrell, Desi Debronkhart, Dakota Swepson, Paul Howard (PJ), Belle Howard and Caleb Howard; and his siblings, Daniel Virgin (Sheila), Johnny Virgin (Denise) and Diane Virgin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with his generous spirit, David chose to donate his organs ensuring that even in passing, he could continue to help others.
