He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Payne and RoseAnn Payne; his wife Pamela N. Payne; his children, David Alan Payne Jr. and Sherry Jean Payne; and his sisters, Debra Dalton and Connie Charles.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Joseph Mace, Cassidy Payne and Nathan Payne; his great grandchild Ryder McGrath; his siblings, George Payne (Bev) and Sherry Jo Candish; and his daughter-in-law Heidi Payne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
