He was predeceased by: his parents, Mamie Saunders and Earl Wood; his grandparents, Howard, Sr. and Mary Saunders; his siblings, Curtis (Ruth), Howard, Michael Paul Saunders and Tarah L. Saunders; and his siblings-in-law, Teri Saunders and Edward Lewis.
He is survived by: his fiancé Stacey Alexander; his children, Mamie Saunders, Keshawna Anderson, Darryl Saunders Jr., Ladarr Saunders and Darrius Saunders; and his siblings, Sondra Lewis, Mark Saunders (Mara), Christopher Saunders (Rhonda) and Phillip Saunders. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends.
