He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Thomas, Daniel Ray Whittaker, II and Angel Herren; his grandchildren, Brittany, Kassie, Jamie, Stephanie, Daisy, Heather and Courtney; his son Hershel Thacker, III (Chelsey); his brother-in-law John Messer, Sr. (Marcella); his son-in-law Mike Young; and his siblings, Carol Damron, Kathy Whittaker and Jerry Whittaker.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
