It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dallas Phipps of Columbus, Ohio, born in Lucasville, Ohio, who passed away on September 17, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willian "Bill" Phipps and Elizabeth Sparks Phipps; his former wife Judy Norman Phipps; his children, George Phipps and Margaret Nott; and his siblings, Larry, Danny, Phil, Dave Phipps, Reba Marcum, Brenda Rucker and Louise Marcum.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Moore Phipps; his children, William "Willie" Phipps, Connie Phipps (Donnie Dempsy) and Lisa Bowe (Randy); his stepdaughter Penny Wheeler; and his siblings, Roger Phipps, Roy Phipps and Bonnie Myers. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the BIG Run United Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
