She was predeceased by: her parents, Newton Goens and Irma Goens; and her sister Mary Frances. She is survived by: her brothers, Duane and Harold; and her children, Cheryl Mason-Dorman (Alfred), Carol Mason-Loubon and Chauncey M. Mason (Daphine). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
