He was predeceased by: his wife Anne Kirchner Tsitouris; and his parents, Helen (Gus Tsitouris) and Buckeye. He is survived by: his children, Chris Tsitouris Jr. (Nicole), Alexander K. Tsitouris (Cara) and Katherine A. Tsitouris; and his grandchildren, Jackson, Cameron, Grace, Nicholas and Weston.
In his honor, memorial contributions may be made to the Larry J. Copeland, M.D. Professorship in Gynecologic Oncology Fund #641444 at The James Cancer Hospital.
