She is survived by: her nephews, Dahomey El-Amin and Douglas Byrd; her husband Richard; her children, Neilston Byrd (Christina) and Silvina Walker (Jerry); her siblings, Harold Garnes (Julia), Kermit Garnes (Margaret) and Lynn Ragland; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Byrd and Yvonne Pate. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
