He was predeceased by: his grandmother Cornamae Evans; his parents, Charles L. Sr. Rice and Phyllis A. Rice (Evans); and his siblings, Eddie Rice and Sherrie Wellman.
He is survived by: his wife Suzan Rice; his children, Danielle Cain, Jeff Ward (Belinda) and Charles L. Rice III; and his sister Brenda Sue Rice. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
