She was predeceased by: her parents, George Sutherland and Garnet Sutherland; and her sister Brenda. She is survived by: her husband John W.; her children, Johnathan, Alex, Hilary and Oliver Bricker; and her grandchildren, Jorga, Lyla, Veda and Mya. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

She worked as a Licensed Practical Nursing for over 30 years at the Heinzerling Memorial Foundation.
